Involvement​

Community involvement is very important to our family. We serve through the following groups and organizations.

Reilly Springs Baptist Church

​The Caldwells are actively involved in the ministry of Reilly Springs Baptist Church, where Danny has served as pastor since November 2018. Both Danny and Krista serve in RSBC's biblical counseling ministry. Krista is also active in the music ministry and children's Sunday school program.

Prior to coming to RSBC the Caldwell's have served in several other ministries including: Journey Baptist Church - Sulphur Springs, TX (2013-2018), BBFI as Church Planters in Austria (2002-2013), Central Baptist Church - Sulphur Springs, TX (2000-2002) and Seminole Baptist Temple - Springfield, MO (1999). Krista grew up in a ministry family and spent the majority of her childhood in the Philippines, where her parents were church planters.

Rehoboth Baptist Association

​Since April 2024, Danny has served as the Executive Director of the RBA, which is a local association of freely cooperating Southern Baptist churches from Delta, Fannin, Franklin, Hopkins, Rains, Titus, and Wood counties in Northeast Texas. The association exists to assist and strengthen its member churches, both individually and corporately, in fulfilling their mission of Kingdom work.

CHESS Homeschool Group

​Our entire family has been involved with the Christian Home Educators of Sulphur Springs (CHESS) homeschool group since 2015. Danny serves as the CHESS Athletic Director and Krista greatly assists him in that role. Both Danny and Krista have been involved in coaching basketball on the various teams that the kids have been a part of. Krista also serves on the CHESS board and teaches classes through the CHESS educational co-op. We would love to answer any questions you may have about CHESS or homeschooling in general. Reilly Springs Community Center

​Danny serves on the board of the Reilly Springs Community Center. The community center has a rich history in this area having previously served as both the home of the old Reilly Springs School and the Reilly Springs Jamboree. It is currently available to be rented for public and private events.
